THIS IS GREAT! SUPER GREAT. It's a Jesus Thing. Loving others, particularly family members, in spite of religious differences. So here is a Christian Dad demonstrating his love for his atheist daughter. This is so precious.
"I sat down with my dad to talk about our differences in religion. I'm an atheist and he's a Christian. We still have a great relationship and if you're in a family with differences I hope you can get to this point too " --Jaclyn Glenn
If an Christian dad can love like this, so can you. So can I! So can everyone!
Pride and prejudice that divide is nothing of which to be proud.
THE JESUS THING:
After talking to a Samaritan woman, a supposed enemy of the Jews (which Jesus was) his disciples could not understand why he had developed a friendship with a Samaritan (who was also a woman, a double no-no).
Jesus responded, "Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
In other words, to view others as enemies is to live with your eyes closed and not see the larger picture.

Bottom line: Truly love others, and watch the miracles that take place.
