AFTERMATH (2017) Movie Review
CHRIST IN CULTURE
Two otherwise great guys are changed in the aftermath of a devastating unintended accident. Guilt and revenge are the themes here. An air controller’s misstep results in the death of a construction foreman's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) wife and daughter. Now both must come to terms with life on the other side of an immense life changing event.
A powerful story that resonates with us all. You have been there. It has happened to you. How do we do life after life changing events? How do we make peace with it all?
There is no easy answer to this dilemma. Many have found help in friends, family, community, faith and perseverance. How do you survive? One interesting way is found in helping others in similar situations. In helping others we indeed help ourselves.
Anger ventilated often hurries towards forgiveness; anger concealed often hardens into revenge.
