“Celebrating 28 Years of Music & Ministry”
Introducing 12 of Kathy Troccoli’s personal favorites in one album. On June 8 she released her highly anticipated album, Heartsongs, in the time of her national tour. With the mixed styling of Eva Cassidy, Norah Jones, and Sarah Vaughan she sings these classic songs with the component of jazz.
The song list of unforgettable classics include Louis Armstrong’s “It’s a Wonderful World,” Simson and Garfunkel’s “Feelin’ Groovy.” She includes other songs from music titans such as James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Elton John, Al Green, and The Beatles.
“On my iPod, there are many incredible songs; but the best of the best are filed under ‘KT Favorites,’” comments Troccoli on her website. “They warm me, delight me, and soothe my soul. And they are timeless. Through the years, I have dreamed of recording these titles but have never had the opportunity… until now. What a pure joy it has been! I hope and pray you will feel the same.”
After more than 28 years and 19 albums she continues to please her audience with her many great talents. She has served as a singer, songwriter, speaker, and author. Plus, she has won numerous awards including three Grammy nominations and two Dove Awards; and she has sold over 2 million records.
Troccoli also hosts an annual cruise, KT and Friends Alaska, which will occur through June 13-20 this year, “a life-changing adventure for singles, couples and families as well!” This weekend she will also host the Hope’s Alive! Women’s Conference, which will be “an inspirational event for women.”
