MOVIE REVIEW

So the smurfs suddenly realize that they are all dudes, except one!  Hmm, that means that there must be more of them somewhere. Here is the classic road film. They are on a journey to unite with others. Indeed, life is always more that just us! Discovering others is a wonderful journey.

There is another theme in this film that is interesting. It is the "Paradise Lost" theme. There is a desire to regain paradise.

Excellent themes and excellent humor make this a great family film.

Synopsis: In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.
