Who would have known that the star of Orphan Black the host to The Late Show both love Jesus Christ Superstar?
From 2013 to 2017, Tatiana Maslany starred in the original series Orphan Black. She plays the lead character, Sarah Manning, as well as Sarah's cohort of clones: Cosima Niehaus, Alison Hendrix, Helena, Rachel Duncan, Elizabeth Childs, Krystal Goderitch, Veera "M.K." Suominen, Katja Obinger, Jennifer Fitzsimmons and Tony Sawicki. Maslany won two Critics' Choice Television Awards and one TCA Award for her performance in the series.
Tatiana Maslany once played Mary the mother of Jesus in The Nativity, a 2010 British four-part drama television series. The series is a re-telling of the Nativity of Jesus and was broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD across four days.
In interviews, Stephen Colbert has described his parents as devout people who also strongly valued intellectualism and taught their children that it was possible to question the church and still be Catholic.
Today, Colbert is a practicing Roman Catholic and a Sunday school teacher. He is an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church Monastery.
