THE END HAS NOT COME
It’s 3:01 on May 21. No trumpets, no fire, no blood filled seas, no rapture.
For centuries, religious nuts like Harold Camping have been proclaiming they know the exact date of Judgment Day. For centuries, they’ve been wrong. Why do they continue this pathetic charade? In the end, it all boils down to the words of Christ.
NO ONE CAN KNOW WHEN EXACTLY THE END WILL COME!
Matthew 24:36 says, “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.” (NLT)
See? Not even Christ knew the day. What makes little, old Camping thinks he’s smarter than Christ? Two words for this man (among all the rest): False Prophet.
It boggles my mind why people can’t accept the incomprehensible. My approach to the rapture is the same as my approach to everything in the Bible. We can never know its full meaning, because we were not part of the cultures in which it was written. The best we can do is accept how close we can get.
The one thing we need to remember is that God loves us, enough to sacrifice His only Son for our salvation. That is God’s gift to us as it should be our gift to others. Forget what you can’t possibly know and focus on your Christian duty. Love each other.
