IMAGINE THAT (2009) Graphic Review

  • By John Robert
  • 12 Jun, 2009

REVIEW:
Thomas Haden Church sums up the film best: "I think that there is a wonderment, a kind of life-affirming eternal hope that dwells within children and what goes on in their imagination. Things are so mystical and magical to them. There's an innocence that unfortunately gets diminished as you get older, and it's just nice to be reminded of it.” What more can be said?

SYNOPSIS:
In Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies' family comedy "Imagine That," Eddie Murphy stars as a successful financial executive who has more time for his blackberry than his seven-year-old daughter (Yara Shahidi). When he has a crisis of confidence and his career starts going down the drain, however, he finds the solution to all his problems in his daughter's imaginary world.
